Chevron adds to traffic management business
Aggregate Industries UK has announced the sale of its traffic management business to Chevron Traffic Management.
The deal will see 85 Aggregate Industries employees being TUPE transferred to the employment of Chevron Traffic Management across sites in Leeds and Merstham in Surrey.
Mike Pearce, director of construction solutions for Aggregate Industries, said: “This deal allows us to concentrate on what we do best – namely providing our customers with market leading pavement solutions. It will also enable us to continue to offer a wide range of products and services to our customers through a close working relationship with Chevron Traffic Management.”
Kim Yates, managing director of Chevron Traffic Management, added: “This move enables us to expand our business portfolio, while also welcoming new employees to our business who have an excellent reputation and years of experience in traffic management. We are looking forward to working alongside Aggregate Industries on some of their key projects in the future.”
Aggregate Industries quarries, manufactures and supplies a wide-range of materials to the construction industry. It is a member of the Holcim Group.
Chevron Traffic Management is now the largest independent traffic management company operating throughout England and Wales, with an annual turnover of more than £22 million.
